| Surabaya Police Station's Prisoner dead in jail |
A Prisoner of Surabaya Police Station, Rahma Fathurozi (17 years old), the suspect of immoral cases, killed when a fellow prisoner attacked, in the cell on block D.
Chief of Criminal Division, Surabaya Police Station, Farman acknowledged that detainees were beaten and died on Saturday (10/12) night. "The autopsy results are known if the victim was beaten and died from wounds suffered many bruises," said Farman, Sunday (11/12/2011).
Chief of Surabaya Police Station, Comr Manurung declined to comment further respond to the case. He claimed to assign the case to Criminal Division.
"Please talk to Police Public Relation, I cannot give any statement," said Manurung when confirmed reporters via his cell phone this Sunday.
Based on information compiled, Saturday night at about 20:30 pm, a prisoner named Rahma Fathurozi are languishing in detention Block D, beaten by other prisoners. The officer who happened to watch in the cell know that violence. But the victim was in a state of limp and unconscious.
"The victim was taken to the Ahmad Dahlan Hospital and had received treatment, but eventually died," he said.
